History
Dieter Steinbach, who had been working as an independent HR consultant since 1979,
founded Steinbach & Partner in 1984. With a graduate degree in psychology,
his emphasis was on evaluating candidates from the start, so he developed the
'GTS - General Test System,' a tool to test a candidate's suitability for a
position. Expanding rapidly, Dieter Steinbach grew the company into one of the
leading personnel consulting firms in Germany; he also initiated international
expansion by founding the EESN network in 2004. In 2006, Dieter Steinbach
passed away unexpectedly. Both as the managing director and HR consultant, he
was highly regarded by his clients and employees.
Since April 2006, Sebastian Steinbach has been at the helm of the company and has further expanded Steinbach & Partner International.
As of July 2009, Guido Happe became the first external Board member, and has been the Chairman of the Board of Steinbach & Partner since October 2009.
